IR control problems are becoming more common as it is often desirable to hide AV equipment away in cabinets or other rooms, often a distance from the TV or projector. The IRBKIT system makes it easy to relay those important IR signals back to where they are needed.
The IRBKIT system is designed to filter and reject unwanted interference from Plasma & LCD screens to give you dependable, reliable results every single time.
So what do I need?
In a basic set-up you will need an IRBKIT IR distribution amplifier, an IR receiver to point the remote control at, and an IR emitter 'wand' for each device which you would like to control.

This page that you are on now shows our IRBKIT IR distribution amplifier with our Standard IR receiver. This is ideal if you want to hide the receiver away out of sight under the screen, under the cabinet, on a bookshelf, basically anywhere where it's front still has a clear line of sight with the remote control (it's very important to have a clear line of sight!). The IR receiver is a neat and tidy design measuring only 54mm long x 37mm wide x 9mm deep and so can fitted into small spaces. This kit is also supplied with 1 x Close range IR emitter wand and 1 x High powered IR emitter wand instead of the usual 2 x Close range IR emitter wands to give you the facility to control a device upto ten metres away
The IR receiver cable is 1.5 metres long and so fine for most local installations. This cable can be easily extended over Cat5e/6 using our KA175 line adaptors.
